Where to park a golf cart on Clearwater Beach
Bayway Blvd metered spots
Standard metered spaces along Bayway fit a 4 or 6-seat cart in a single stall. Pay by app, no oversize surcharge.
Pier 60 / Beach Walk garage area
Surface lots along South Gulfview take carts in regular spaces. Avoid the upper decks of the garage — low clearance ramps and tight turns.
Sand Key Park
Large flat lot just over the Sand Key bridge, easy in and out. Great mid-day stop and the quietest beach access on the route.
Marina District (free 2-hour)
Short-term free spaces near the marina shops and restaurants. Fine for lunch or a sunset cruise stop; watch the posted time limits.
Street-legal cart routes around Clearwater Beach
1. Sunset Loop — 30 minutes
Bayway Blvd → down Gulfview Blvd → Pier 60 → back down Coronado. All posted 35 mph or under and legal for street-legal LSVs.
2. Sand Key Run — 1 hour
Bayway to Gulf Blvd south over the Sand Key bridge to Sand Key Park. Gulf Blvd is 35 mph through this stretch — stay right and use turn signals.
3. Island Dinner Cruise — 45 minutes
Marina District to the Beach Walk restaurants and back. Easy parking at both ends, best after 5pm when beach traffic thins out.
Rules of the road for LSV golf carts
- Street-legal LSV carts may only drive on roads posted 35 mph or less — that covers nearly all of Clearwater Beach and Sand Key.
- Crossing (not driving along) a higher-speed road is allowed at a signed intersection.
- Driver must be 21+ with a valid license; seat belts for every passenger and no riders over capacity.
- Carts are not allowed on the sand, the Beach Walk promenade or sidewalks.
- Headlights, turn signals and tail lights are required after dark — every cart in our fleet is equipped.
